i know this is way late, [still trying to find my way around this crazy blog] anyway,had a fabulous thing happen last yr, my friend Mike Emigh got me a gig at VALLEY FIG GROWERS, where he works. painted some figs for thier xmas cards this year. was so fun and really turned out beautiful. im sooo honored…thank u mike, AND valley fig growers.

You all know how much i love the beach…well it seems i’ve let it rub off on me a little and have begun to have a thing for jellyfish. I even took a surfing lesson this year.YIKES! A summer I wont soon forget!

Just LOVE painting these, so much fun and really free’s ya up. its a great warm-up excercise, and always gives me some ideas for my paintings. Besides, i love being like a kid, and just playing with paint.[who doesn't, right?] i believe we have endless resources with our imagination, we just dont tap into it often enuf. Let your mind wander sometime…it’s good for the soul.

1st Annual studio sale!

My first ever studio sale at my home studio was a huge success, thanks to all my wonderful clients. They had been asking for some time now if they could take a peek inside….well, i must say, it was a bit of a daunting task getting it presentable. [Artists are a bit messy.] But i pressed on, got it all spiffed up and opened the doors for all to see! I truly love showing off my paintings, and people were so lovely to comment and show thier appreciation. [I felt like a proud mama showing off her kids.] I had french music playing which added to the ambiance! People wandered in and out as they got thier hair done thru out the month of may. I appreciate everyone who came and bought,and even those who just browsed. It was truly a joy for me.  Thank you with all my heart!

The new website!!

   Oh my gosh! My very own website and BLOG! Do i feel like a grownup or what? It is more than i could have ever expected, and i have my AWESOME nephew JASON to thank for it. For over a year now, he has been telling me “when are you going to have me build you a website?” Of course now im saying: “Why didn’t i do this sooner?”  This is a real dream come true for me, and i hope you all enjoy it as much as i do.
